Mechanical Data:2 x 230 hp 4 cylinder Yanmar 4LH series diesel engines fittedwith Hurth 2:1 reduction hydraulic gearboxes driving 2 x 3 bladecontra rotating propellers on 1.5" diameter stainless steelshafts giving maximum speed of 28 knots. Remarks:The Seaward 29's have proven seakeeping qualities and are probably the best seakeeping vessels in this size range. Although capable of 28 knots with 230 hp engines the enormous amount of reserve power ensures ultra smooth running and very low noise levels when cruising at 15-20 knots.
