This Nelson 45 was built in 1987 by Seaward Marine in Guernsey and has been extensively updated by her current owner since 2002. Re-engined with a pair of Mermaid 300hp Turbo Plus for economical cruising. 'Blue Venture' is in the Med where she has been since 2007 cruising waters around Greece, Sicily, Malta, West coast of Italy and South of France (where she is currently lying). The internal layout of this lovely gentleman's motor yacht comprises a wheelhouse with two comfortable seats for the navigator and pilot stations, L shaped settee, folding table, cupboards and full size chart table. The galley is fitted out with a good range of domestic equipment and worktops along with a dinette seating arrangement around a teak table. Comfortable sleeping accommodation for 4 persons plus an occasional two - with the table in the galley dropping down and converting into a double berth. The aft cabin has two full size single beds, hanging lockers, dressing table and mirror along with heads & shower. The forward cabin has V-berths along with head and separate shower. The interior of this vessel is finished in teak throughout as well as benefitting from full teak decks. The external layout includes seats with storage and a de-mountable table on the aft deck. With below average engine running hours and freshly serviced engines, viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the full extent of this traditional vessel. If you want good sea-keeping and spacious comfort, you will get none better than with this Seaward built craft.
