This Nelson 42 Mk II was built in 1996 by Bucklers Hard Boatbuilders and has been extremely well cared for by her owners and is presented in first class order. The internal layout of this superb vessel comprises a wheelhouse with two bucket style leather seats to nav and pilot stations, L shape settee, table, cupboards and TV/ video in separate cupboard and full size chart table. The galley is fitted out with ceramic Belfast sink and corian worktops along with the seating arrangement being of a U shape around teak table, shelves and cupboards. Along with fridge, gas hob 4 burner and electric combi microwave oven in cupboard. Sleeping accomodation for upto 6 persons - with the table in the galley dropping down and converting into a double bunk, the aft cabin has two full size single beds, hanging lockers, dressing table and mirror along with heads & shower facilities and the forward cabin can be used as a double or twin bunks along with head and shower facilities. This vessel is finished in teak throughout with superb attention to detail. The external layout of this vessel has separate pilot and navigators seats, two storage boxes / seats along with teak decks. With below average engine running hours, viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the full extent of this stunning vessel.

Mechanical Data:2 x 420 hp Ford Sabre 6 cylinder series diesel engines fitted with Sabre controls for 3/6 cylinder cruise. Manual or auto trim tabs. Kobelt engine controls. 2 main stainless steel fuel tanks with a capacity of 875 litres in each tank with 2 further reserve tanks of 340 litres each. Fuel transfer pumps from reserve tank to main tank. 2 x stainless steel water tanks with a capacity of 290 litres in each tank. All tanks are monitored by a Tank Tender System.

Remarks:The Seaward Nelson 42's have proven seakeeping qualities and are probably the best seakeeping vessels in this size range. Although capable of 24 knots with twin Ford Sabre 420hp engines the enormous amount of reserve power ensures ultra smooth running and very low noise levels when cruising at 19-20 knots.
