'MOONFLEET' SOLD

This pretty Seaward 25 has been under the same ownership for the past 10 years, joining the Seaward Owners Club rallies most years, including cross-Channel trips. Her experienced owners have kept her neat and tidy and she would make an ideal first purchase. Overall she has been lightly used and therefore presented for sale in very good order. Fitted with a pair of the larger Yanmar 125hp engines and also trim tabs, Moonfleet can if needed provide speed.Like all Seaward craft she is easy to handle- her size means she can be a good social boat yet easy to manoeuvre.

Designer: Arthur Mursell, TT Boat Designs, Isle of Wight.

Builder: Seaward Marine Ltd, Guernsey. Year: 2000

Construction: G.R.P. with teak joinery.

Mechanical Data: 2 x 4 cylinder 125 hp Yanmar marine diesel engines fitted with 2:1 Hurth hydraulic gearboxes driving 2 x 3 blade contra rotating propellers on 35 mm diameter stainless steel shafts giving maximum speed of around 24 knots. Twin cast bronze airfoil rudders and trim tabs are fitted. Fuel consumption at 15 knots is approximately. 2.0 gallons per hour per engine. Two new batteries fitted 2011. Pre-season preparation by Seaward at Cowes Spring 2011. Approx engine running hours: 320 hrs.
