'Hornpiper'

An ideal runabout with lots of character for coastal cruising. With twin inboard diesels on a semi-displacement hull this craft is a safe and easy to handle motor cruiser- the inboard pilot rails are ideal for single handed use. Currently in the West Country where she is ashore for pre-season antifoul.

Construction: G.R.P. with teak joinery.

Mechanical Data: 2 x Yanmar 75 hp four cylinder diesel engines fitted with Hurth 2.14:1 reduction gearboxes driving 2 x 3 blade contra rotating propellers on 30 mm diameter stainless steel shafts giving maximum speed of about 19 knots. Fuel consumption is around 1.9 gallons per hour per engine at 15 knots cruising speed. Engine hours: 771
