'Boxer' SOLD

This powerful semi-displacement motor cruiser was built to an exceptionally high specification by Seaward Marine for her present owner who is moving up to a larger Seaward. 'Boxer' is very well equipped, she has an extensive list of optional extras fitted (including bow thruster) and attractive blue & grey internal upholstery . This superb example of the Seaward 29 is presented in excellent condition. Well laid out galley arrangement in the forward cabin, which has twin V-berths (plus infill cushions to make a double berth) and separate head compartment. Wheelhouse has twin bunk berth arrangement and settees port and starboard as well as a drinks locker behind the navigator's seat. The practical inboard rail system makes this boat especially easy to step ashore from the foredeck when mooring up.The capability of crossing the Solent to Cherbourg in well under 4 hours will particularly appeal to yachtsmen wishing to change from sail to a highly respected and seaworthy offshore motor cruiser.

Mechanical Data: 2 x 240 hp 4 cylinder Yanmar 4LH series diesel engines fittedwith Hurth 2:1 reduction hydraulic gearboxes driving 2 x 3 blade contra- rotating propellers on 1.5" diameter stainless steel shafts giving maximum speed of 28 knots. Twin cast bronze airfoil rudders and trim tabs. Only 110hrs engine running hours.

Remarks:The Seaward 29's have proven seakeeping qualities and are probably the best seakeeping vessels in this size range. Although capable of 28 knots with twin 240 hp engines the enormous amount of reserve power ensures ultra smooth running and very low noise levels when cruising at 15-20 knots.
